Canandaigua Inn on The Lake is located in what starts the Finger Lakes Wine Region in Upstate New York. Located on the north end of Canandaigua Lake nine miles from the New York State Thruway and 45 minutes from the Greater Rochester International Airport, the hotel is beautiful.
The Inn features 134 deluxe guest rooms including 48 suites (10 with Jacuzzis) and 16 lakefront rooms. We have stayed in all their types of rooms , but the lake view suites are awesome. There is a full living area with a pull out sofa , a wet bar in a small kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave.
The bedroom is off the living area and you enter through a pair of glass french doors. King size bed with sleep number mattress and very well appointed fixtures.
During the summer months there is a lake side bar that offers all types of bar food and munchies, as well as Karaoke on Tuesday nights. There are also plenty drink specials every night except Sundays.

In the summer it is a great place to relax by the outdoor pool and lake, in the fall you are with an hour drive of 40 of New York States finest wineries, all with their own tasting rooms and some with very nice restaurants that over look one of the Finger Lakes. In the winter months you will be 20 minutes from the Bristol Mountain Ski Resort http://www.bristolmt.com/default.asp?season=winter. The hotel offers stay and ski packages but on the weekends they go very fast.

In closing we would highly recommend the Canandaigua Inn on The Lake to anyone. Prices vary throughout the year but on average we would say that the regular rooms run in the average of $89 - $109 USD, and the lake view Jacuzzi suites will run from $199 - $269 based on the time of year.
