My husband and I stay here for 4 nights. It was wonderful. It seemed to be a mostly adult hotel but we did see a few young children - personally I would not bring my child to Vegas. While there was a line up to check-in it went extremely fast and the staff didn't rush you at all. Very clean rooms. I put the 'do not disturb' sign every night so that we could sleep in and we were never bothered by the cleaning staff. Centrally located so you have no trouble walking to everything. We will definitely stay there again. In case people don't know - you should watch the room rate of your hotel right up until the day you leave because if it goes down, you can ask for the lower rate and still get the same room.

Stratosphere Hotel Frank & Wendy ~ Hamilton Ontario
June 2005

My husband and I stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino Dec 27-30/04. We were on the 17th floor of tower one with a view of the strip. The room appeared to be recently renovated and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows adequate. The walls were a little thin but we were prepared for this with earplugs, thus no problem.

We ate dinner at Roxy’s Diner, it was a fun time and the portion sizes were huge. The breakfast buffet had great variety and was more than satisfying for us.

We were aware of the hotels location on the strip when we booked our vacation. We just walked 5 minutes down the street to use the monorail at the Sahara to get us to the other end of the strip, and slowly worked our way back to the Stratosphere, checking out the other casinos along the way. It was a long walk but we enjoyed it. Freemont Street was a quick bus ride away. The Freemont Street experience is a must see!

In the past we have stayed at Ballys, Monte Carlo, and Treasure Island. This was by far the least expensive Vegas getaway ever, and I feel we got good value for our $. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Tropicana Kathy ~ Florida
July 2009

Arrival: July 02 - July 03
OMG!!!!! This is all I can about this Hotel.

Rooms:
Old, had to have mattress / bed switched out after sleeping one night and woke up stiff as a board both husband and I had to soak in jucuzzi plus take long hot steam shower next morning to loosen up the back. Husband witnessed bellmen and housekeeping supervisor taking bed from one room and delivering to our room however they did do this in a timely manner which I was impressed.

Restaurants and Bars:
Excellent

Beach/Pools/Grounds:
Nice lagoon style pools. One was a family pool and other was for adults only however they had this screwed up for the family pool had "swim up and sit-up" gambling tables plus "swim up and sit up bar" whereas the adult pool didn't...excuse me but I think this was messed up for after all you must legally be 21 years old to gamble in NV......LOL!!

Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
Typical Las Vegas!!! Did see great show while at the Hotel / Casino (Dirk Arthur Magic Show).

Other Comments:
Overall...save your money.....don't stay here!!!!!
