Have you stayed at a British Columbia hotel? Share your vacation experiences with others.| Royal Scot Suite Hotel | Lynda |
My husband and I stayed at the Royal Scot Suite Hotel in Victoria BC for 4 days at the beginning of May. When you rent a room for over 3 days, the automatically upgrade you to a suite. We loved out suite, it was like being in your own home. Small kitchen, with Microwave, coffee pot, toaster, stove, fridge, pots plans, dishes etc. nice size living room, with full pull out sofa, 2 easy chairs and a TV. Bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, built in shelves and spacious closet, full bathroom off of the bedroom. Also came with a fan, and iron board. We paid $124 a night, which was very reasonable. The hotel is located one block from the Legislative building and one block from the Harbour. We flew to Victoria, so we didn't have a vehicle, however we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to, without having to rent a vehicle. Even the city bus was just a couple streets over, so we were able to go to Butchart Gardens. The hotel also had a pool table and shuffle board, and a games room with many board games and books to read, and a TV. There was a washer ($1 per load) and dryer $1 per load) in the hotel, made it very convenient. There was also a indoor swimming pool, sauna and weight room. The dining room had great food also. What a great place to stay, we would stay here again.

Very well appointed rooms, I stayed in a King suite, nice comfy down blankets on a King size bed with full mirrored closet doors and a balcony off the bedroom with a view of the harbour. Even saw a cruise ship one evening! Bedroom comes with TV and remote.
Livingroom/kithen nice!, table and chairs for 4 as well as full kitchenette. Living area had sofa bed and two bucket chairs with door that opened to bedroom patio.
Dining room was fabulous, great entrees and smorg each morning. Dining Room offered 15% off if you were staying in the hotel. Easy to find your way by car or on foot to most of the Victoria highlights. short 5 min walk to the inner harbour. Would certainly reccomend this hotel and city for a visit! I will stay there again.
